Smart Packing Tips

✅ Hire Eco Crates – The smarter, eco-friendly moving solution. Durable, stackable, and reusable, Eco Crates are perfect for a sustainable move.

✅ Cushion Fragile Items – Use packing paper, towels, or linens at the bottom of each crate for protection. Wrap delicate items individually to prevent damage during your move.

✅ Pack Strategically – Place heavy items at the bottom and lighter items on top. Fill empty gaps with scrunched paper or soft materials to prevent items from shifting inside your moving crates.

✅ Room by Room – Pack one room at a time and group similar items together. Label crates clearly with the room and contents (e.g., Kitchen – Pots & Pans) for faster unpacking.

✅ Weight & Stacking – Each Eco Crate holds up to 25 kg. When stacking, do not exceed 150 kg total to keep crates stable during your move.

✅ Use Reusable Cable Ties – Secure crates with reusable ties; press the release tab to unlock. Always reuse them to reduce waste.

✅ Label Clearly – Use the labels or electrical tape provided. Avoid paper labels as they are difficult to remove and leave sticky residue.

✅ Pack a “First Night” Crate – Include essentials like toiletries, medications, kitchen items, pyjamas, and a change of clothes for a smooth first night in your new home.

✅ Use Towels and Linens – Wrap fragile items in towels, tea towels, or sheets for eco-friendly packing and to save space.

✅ Don’t Overfill – Keep lids flat for safe stacking. Move items that stick out into another crate to prevent damage.

Before Pick-Up

✅ Stack empty Eco Crates neatly in a convenient spot for collection.
✅ Ensure crates are clean, dry, and free from sticky labels or tape.

• Use your suitcases or laundry baskets – Great for soft items like clothing or bedding.
