Can I Change My Eco Crate Pickup Date?

Absolutely. Just contact us and we’ll arrange a new pickup day and time that works best for you.

Can I Change My Eco Crate Order Before Delivery?

Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible before your scheduled delivery if you’d like to add crates, change your hire package, or adjust supplies.

Do I Need to Be Home for Crate Delivery and Pickup?

Yes, someone aged 18+ must be present to sign for delivery. Crates are delivered at ground level. In some cases, we can arrange delivery or pickup from a safe unattended location upon request.

We provide reusable moving crate delivery and pickup across the Auckland region.

· Free delivery within a 15km radius of Northcote

Because our plastic moving crates are stackable and easy to load, movers work faster. With moving companies charging around $180 per hour, time saved means real savings

Are Reusable Moving Crates Better Than Free Cardboard Boxes?

Free cardboard boxes can take time to source and are often damaged or inconsistent in size. They require tape, lack handles, and can collapse.

Eco Crates are clean, durable, uniform in size, and delivered directly to your door — making your move faster and more efficient.

How many crates do I need for my move?

· 1–2 bedroom home: 30 crates

· 3–4 bedroom home: 40 crates

· Larger homes or offices: 50 crates

We offer pre-set hire packages to make choosing easy.

Are Eco Crates cleaned between uses?

Yes. Every reusable moving crate is thoroughly cleaned by hand after each hire using eco-friendly cleaning products.

What Size Are Your Moving Crates?

Each crate holds 73 litres and can carry approximately 25kg. They are designed to be spacious yet comfortable to carry.

How do I pack efficiently with Eco Crates?

Pack heavier items at the bottom, use towels or blankets for fragile items, stack crates safely, and close the lids. No tape or assembly is needed.

What Days Do You Deliver and Pick Up Crates?

We deliver and collect Eco Crates Monday–Saturday across Auckland.

Is There a Delivery or Pickup Fee?

Delivery and pickup are free within our local Auckland service area (15km from Northcote 0632) when ordering one of our crate packages.

For locations outside this area (within Auckland) we have a tiered charging system based on distance from our local area. Please see our Delivery Areas page for more information

Can Eco Crate help with packing?

Yes. Our sister company, Eco Move, Eco Move, offers professional downsizing, packing, moving, and unpacking services.

What are the replacement fees for lost or damaged equipment?

Replacement fees:

· $50 per crate

· $125 per moving trolley

Prices include GST.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations before noon the day before delivery receive a full refund. Later cancellations may incur a 25–50% restocking fee.

Can businesses use Eco Crates for office moves?

Yes. Our reusable moving crates are ideal for office relocations in Auckland, protecting files, electronics, and equipment while saving time compared to cardboard boxes.
