Can I change my pickup date?
Yes — just get in touch and we’ll do our best to adjust your pickup date based on availability.
Can I change my order before delivery?
Yes. You can update your order prior to delivery — simply contact us as early as possible.
Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?
Not necessarily. As long as we have clear instructions for a safe drop-off and collection location, you don’t need to be present
What areas do you deliver moving boxes in Auckland?
We deliver reusable moving boxes across Auckland, with free delivery and pickup within our local service area (10km from Beach Haven).
For areas outside this zone, a tiered delivery fee applies — see our Delivery Areas page for details.
Will I save money using Eco Crate?
When you factor in the time and cost of sourcing cardboard boxes, tape, assembly, and disposal, hiring reusable moving boxes is often comparable — or even cheaper.
Because our moving boxes (eco crates) are stackable and easy to load, movers work faster — which can reduce overall moving costs.
Are reusable moving boxes better than free cardboard boxes?
Free cardboard boxes can be time-consuming to source and are often inconsistent or damaged.
Our reusable moving boxes (eco crates) are:
· Clean and uniform in size
· Strong and stackable
· Delivered to your door
· Faster and easier to pack
How many moving boxes do I need?
· 1–2 bedroom home: 30 crates
· 3–4 bedroom home: 40 crates
· Larger homes or offices: 50+ crates
We offer pre-set hire packages to make choosing easy.
Are Eco Crates cleaned between uses?
Yes. Every reusable moving crate is thoroughly cleaned by hand after each hire using eco-friendly cleaning products.
What size are your moving boxes?
Each crate holds 73 litres and can carry approximately 25kg. They are designed to be spacious yet comfortable to carry.
How do I pack efficiently with Eco Crates?
Pack heavier items at the bottom, use towels or blankets for fragile items, stack crates safely, and close the lids. No tape or assembly is needed.

What Days Do You Deliver and Pick Up Crates?
We deliver and collect Eco Crates Monday–Saturday across Auckland.
Is There a Delivery or Pickup Fee?
Delivery and pickup are free within our local Auckland service area (10km from Beach Haven 0626) when ordering one of our crate packages.
For locations outside this area (within Auckland) we have a tiered charging system based on distance from our local area. Please see our Delivery Areas page for more information
Can you help with packing or clearing a home?
Yes. Through our team at The Collective, we provide:
· Downsizing support
· Packing and unpacking
· Storage unit clear-outs
· House and estate clearances

What are the replacement fees for lost or damaged equipment?
Replacement fees:
· $50 per crate
· $125 per moving trolley
Prices include GST.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made before noon the day prior to delivery receive a full refund.
Later cancellations may incur a 25–50% restocking fee.
Can businesses use Eco Crates?
Yes. Our reusable moving boxes are ideal for office moves, protecting equipment and making packing faster and more efficient.
